Assistant Professor Jesse C. Manegdeg
Meet Assistant Professor Jesse Manegdeg
Assistant Professor Manegdeg began teaching in Colorado Springs in 1983 at the Peterson AFB Youth Center. He has since passed that branch to his first student who is now a Chief Instructor with Assistant Professor Manegdeg's main location being the East Central Branch located on Barnes Road and Oro Blanco Drive. A state and nationally ranked competitor, Assistant Professor Manegdeg now coaches and trains a state championship team of juniors and adults ranging from beginner ranks to black belt. He also teaches at the Monument Branch in Creekside Middle School. Programs are available at both locations for pee wees, junior and adults that teach self defense, coordination, physical fitness and so much more! Unique to the East Central Branch in Colorado Springs, is an after school martial arts program that is a state licensed day care program. The students are picked up from local area schools and transported to the karate school for a martial arts class and supervised homework and free time. In addition to the attributes listed above, the students are learning responsibility and respect for themselves and others.
