Head Instructor William Horn began studying Universal Kempo-Karate in 2004 under the instruction of Assistant Professor Judy Maddox. Originally, Inst. Horn enrolled his children in order to help build their confidence, strength and self esteem. As he watched his children train, he realized this could be a family bonding opportunity and began training with his children. His daughter, Megan, is a junior black belt and his daughter, Cassidy, is a junior brown belt. Their goal is to provide a family oriented training environment and to support families by teaching respect, discipline, fitness, and appreciation for what we have in our lives. Students will be encouraged by their success in martial arts, to accomplish great things in their communities and beyond. They would be proud to have you as part of their Kempo family at the Pikes Peak Branch of Universal Kemp-Karate Schools Association.
