 Assistant Professor Stewart Levett | Meet Assistant Professor Stewart Levett Assistant Professor Levett holds a degree in education and started his training in January 1986 under Assistant Professor Garland Johnson. Assistant Professor Levett was promoted to the rank of Black Belt in December 1989 and opened the first Westside Branch of Universal Kempo-Karate in October of 1990. He achieved the rank of Chief Instructor, 6th Degree in June 2004 and was promoted to Assistant Professor by the schools founder, Professor Martin T. Buell in 2008. Assistant Professor Levett considers it a privilege to provide his students with the skills, tools and love of the martial arts that will make you a black belt leader.
