Head Instructor Steve Sladaritz began his training in 2000 at Peterson AFB Youth Center under the instruction of Chief Instructor Robert DeYoung. In 2004, he made his last Air Force permanent change of station (PCS) to Vandenberg AFB, CA where he took over the branch and began teaching. He taught at the Vandenberg Branch until he retired from the Air Force in 2006, and returned to Colorado Springs where he opened the Wildflower Branch at Wildflower Elementary School. Instructor Steve enjoys teaching to all ages, sharing what he has learned and the many benefits of martial arts including; confidence, humility, respect, fitness, and a positive attitude.
